Heads were turning today at Highbridge Caravans, when this Vintage 1928, four and a half litre Bentley arrived on site. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Showell for letting us take a picture of your Brilliant Bentley!
Our Caravan Salesman Adam was pleased to receive this lovely hand drawn thank you card from Mr and Mrs Bowater who recently collected their new special edition Lunar Caravan from Highbridge. Mrs Bowater has drawn a great portrait of Adam… or is it Mr Bean? Seen here doing the final checks to the Caravan before Teddy drives them both off on their holidays!
A blast from the past, this is our old load lugger that was used for visiting Caravan shows throughout the South West in the 70’s and 80’s, carrying all the promotional materials. Now it comes in handy as extra dry storage on site and is easily pulled by our sit on lawn mower!
Highbridge Caravans are pleased to announce that we now export caravans overseas. To find out the full process and for any further information, visit our dedicated page:http://www.highbridgecaravans.co.uk/information/export
Another busy week of collections last week at Highbridge, and the variety that we have to offer is shown in this picture. A new Trailer Tent, Caravan and Motorhome all being collected at the same time. Highbridge has always aimed to be your first choice for more choice.
Being the sponsor of the Carnival Queen, Highbridge Caravans are pleased to find out the new Carnival Queen has been chosen for this year’s Carnival. Tina Hooke our Sales and After Sales receptionist was pleased to represent Highbridge Caravans as one of the judges for choosing this year’s Burnham-On-Sea Carnival Queen. We all at Highbridge Caravans wish everyone who is involved the best in this year’s Carnival, which will be celebrating its 70th anniversary.
There was a beautiful sunset over Highbridge Caravans this week.
The Caravan Club allowed the BBC to film their ‘Caravanner of the Year’ competition, and below are the dates of when the TV programme will be aired:
· Wednesday 20 April – 8pm on BBC2
· Wednesday 27 April – 8pm on BBC2
The two programmes will show six contestants, who are all Caravan Club members, taking part in a series of challenges in order to win the coveted title of ‘Caravanner of the Year’.
The first programme will introduce the entrants and whittle them down to the three finalists.
Filming took place over two action-packed weekends at the Caravan Clubs Ferry Meadows Site where the contestants took part in a series of fun challenges that tested the competitors’ skills in driving, towing, manoeuvring and pitching, as well as their superb knowledge about all things caravaning.
Tune in and watch, and don’t forget to tell your friends and family about it too.
Ian stopped off at Highbridge last week, to get some parts for his purpose built off-road caravan that he is going to do a world tour with, which starts in Canada. The idea of the map on the back of the caravan is to tick off which country he has visited along the way. Everyone at Highbridge Caravans wishes you all the best!
